Cooking Club
The cooking club offers French-speaking girls between the ages of 11 and 15 the opportunity to develop their interest in cooking, an important life skill. The club makes use of the wonderful commercial kitchen at Valrideau University Residence, on Friday evenings, 2or 3 times per month.
Recent classes have included: tasty and quick-to-make salads, pies from scratch and a variety of cheesecakes.
The girls also got to learn cool napkin
folding techniques that will give their dinner table
an elegant touch, especially when guests are over.
