Valrideau University Residence

Valrideau University Residence is Neeje’s main project and was established in 1989. Besides providing safe accommodation for female university students in Ottawa (www.valrideau.ca), Valrideau houses Neeje's headquarters and is the heart of our Association's life and operations. A bustling centre of activity for women of all ages, starting with teenagers, Valrideau allows Neeje to achieve its mission of promoting the family and building society by providing support and inspiration to women in the Ottawa-Gatineau and Kingston-Belleville areas. For more info, contact Carol Lawson 613-789-3510

Many of Neeje's programmes and personal initiatives of its members were developed at Valrideau, where some of the initiatives described in these pages are carried out. Valrideau's new chapel is used for spiritual activities provided by Opus Dei.

Through a major expansion of the building that was completed in 2002, Neeje is better equipped to face increasing demands. Our aspirations are to continually broaden the depth and sphere of our positive influence on society.

Anything worthwhile requires resources of all kinds, including financial. Neeje believes a lack of funds can never be an excuse for not undertaking a worthy endeavour. To find out how Neeje is raising funds to support Valrideau and all the activities it promotes, click here.
